Review of The Potent Hoodithin Liquid

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

By Jeremy Hansen Yes, its another weight loss potion. Another way to miraculously strip inches of fat from your body simply by consuming an innocent few drops of liquid per day. I’m sure you’ve heard it all before, however in the case of the new ‘wonder’ weight loss treatment Hoodithin, there might just be a little more involved than meets the eye. 2006 has seen the popularization of the Hoodia diet pill for weight loss. Hoodia has been demonstrated in numerous studies to be particularly effective and its benefits have been featured on tv programs from 60 minutes to Oprah. Hoodithin is the newest and most potent kind of Hoodia: Liquid Hoodia. As we will look at, liquid form Hoodia has specific and powerful benefits that are set to send the already existing Hoodia users into a frenzy. Just to get it out of the way, here is the basic science behind Hoodia. Generally the reason for excessive eating, has to do with a signal that is sent from our body’s digestive system to our brain that tells us when our stomach is full. We can FEEL when we are full and when we aren’t, this is otherwise called your appetite. The chemical ingredients of the naturally occuring Hoodia plant actually act within the hypothalamus of the brain to release a signal that indicates that we are fuller sooner, hence suppressing our appetite and causing us to eat less food. Clinical studies have confirmed these results but perhaps even more interesting is the fact that the bushmen of a tribe in South Africa from where Hoodia is found have been discovered to have used the Hoodia plant so that they could survive long periods without food such as on continual hunting trips. So how’s Hoodithin different? This is where it gets interesting. Hoodithin is basically the liquid form of Hoodia. When scientists first discovered the miracle properties of Hoodia it was developed into a tablet form for consumption by humans. This involved extracting the active ingredients from the plant, solidifying and processing them so they could be made into tablets, then combined with various vegetable extracts and fillers to complete the tablet construction process. This along with the fact that in tablet form the body has to undergo added work to break the tablet down and extract the ingredients usually results in around 20% of the active ingredients of a Hoodia tablet be able to be absorbed by the body and have its effect on the brain as desired. Hoodithin Liquid however is able to overcome this problem. By liquefying the Hoodia, scientists were able to completely isolate the powerful ingredients and allow for it to be absorbed with almost no effort on the bodys behalf. This means that when you take Hoodithin liquid drops, your body is able to absorb almost 95% of the active ingredients extracted from the Hoodia plant, almost instantly. As you can imagine this dramatically enhances the results you can get from your usage, or in simple terms, you can lose more weight faster! So the fact that the substance works is no longer a question. However there are some factors that still need to go into the consideration before a decision is made as to whether such a potion is worth our time. Gary Stephens is a writer on weight loss supplements and runs an informational website dedicated to the discussion of the new weight loss solution Hoodithin. Green Tea The Natural Way To Lose Weight

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

By Tracy Taylor Green Tea has now become a popular way to lose weight. Green tea, besides being a typical beverage around the world, provides numerous health benefits in addition to its weight loss properties. The best green tea has lots of advantages; there are no additives or preservatives in this product. The best green tea might be able to help boost your immune system and also enhance other capacities in your life Many people have discovered that green tea is a powerful weapon to fight fats and obesity, including celebrities like Oprah. It also helped to aid weight loss by increasing the metabolic rate, causing those who use it to burn more calories. Green tea is one of the only, all natural fat burning products that can selectively increase fat oxidation without jitters and mood swings, increased heart rate, heart palpitations, and other similar side effects associated with Ma-Haung, (ephedrine). This makes Green Tea perfect for individuals wishing to remove stimulants from their diets. Believe it or not, more and more often you’ll find green tea included in the compilations of many of the more popular weight loss supplements today. Many would say it’s definitely helpful, but not earth-shatteringly effective. It’s no “magic pill” I guess you could say. Proper diet and an effective exercise program will be the key to wringing the most out of green tea. Green tea becomes an active ingredient in many weight loss products. When health benefit varieties of green tea are listed, weight loss is not usually first on the list. As research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, “Consumption of green tea produced thermogenesis and increased energy expenditure and fat oxidation” in humans. Green tea, as an active ingredient used in many of the top weight loss products when weight loss products claim they contain natural ingredients, green tea is almost always in the list. The benefits of green tea can be had by drinking freshly brewed tea, or through supplements. Either way is rather inexpensive compared to other health and diet products so why not give green tea a try. I have made a site that is all about green tea http://enjoygreentea.com. There is also a blog that I will be posting to here http://www.enjoygreentea.com/greenteablog. Making Happy Friends

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

By CD Mohatta How to have happy friends? This is a very important question. Who likes friends who don’t smile and laugh? Who enjoys meeting friends who look serious? Not any of us. What about ourselves? Do we make happy friendships? Do we make our friends happy? before thinking about others, wouldn’t it be better if we first analyze our own self? Do we smile often when we are with our friends? Do we laugh at the smallest joke? Or we have a serious expression on our face all the time with our friends? Let us first think about our own behavior and correct whatever we can . Making happy friendships - Make yourself look happy with your friends and your friends will reflect. That is the secret of happy friendship. Our emotions are reflected in our body language. The reverse is equally true.Does this help us? it does. it can change our state of mind by changing our physical state. For example, if you are feeling bored, try to look cheerful and you will start becoming cheerful. It is strange, but it works. If you are feeling sad, try to look happy. You will find the sadness going away. Isn’t it great? How do we talk with friends - Happiness also depends on what do we talk with our friends. Are we always talking of our own life or do we also listen to them. Listening is the best way to make friends happy. Listen and do it carefully. No pretensions. Your friends will be happy that someone heard them out without interruption. You will also be making your friendship stronger. Listening is very good. by listening, we make the other person feel important. we also make him/her feel happy and relieved. By talking things out, one feels relieved. Isn’t it? Give and you shall receive. the third law of Newton. Apply this law in your life and make happy friends. You can make them happy right now by telling them about how much you appreciate their friendship. listening to your friends, keeping happy state of mind in their company and appreciating the friendship will make happy friends. Make your life happier and your relationships stronger with happy friends. Mohatta writes about different aspect of life. I Go Ice Fishing and Find Big Foot Stranded on the Ice

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

By John T Jones, Ph.D. The other day I got up my courage, jumped into an extra pair of longjohns, and took off for the Salmon Creek Reservoir to fish through the ice. A couple of years ago one of the girls in my Sunday School class told me she went ice fishing with her family in Southern Idaho and that she had fun. They caught some nice trout. Her thought stuck in my head and I decided to give it a try this year since ice fishing can be fun. I could see those trout a sizzling in the fry pan. Up where my oldest son lives in Michigan they put out their little fishing houses until the spring thaw when a number of them, along with automobiles, sink into the lake. During the summer they build a new fish hut or whatever they choose to call it. I dont have a fish hut so up here in Idaho I would have to stand out on the ice and freeze my buns. Actually because of my lousy heart history Im not supposed to go out on a reservoir no more than Im supposed to take a July stroll in the Sahara. But the weather had warmed up to freezing and I decided to give ice fishing a go. The road was pretty crummy to the lake but I made it in fine fiddle. The first thing I noticed when I got there was that I didnt have a valid Idaho fishing license. A new year had slipped in on me. Well, we old people can be forgetful and the fish warden would understand. I pulled the hood of my barn coat over my knit cap to cut out the wind that never stops blowing up here. The barn coat was a gift from my daughter in New York State who understands the word cold. Well, she should. She was raised in Iowa. Next I opened the back of my Toyota minivan and noticed that, although I had my tackle box, I had no fishing pole. I distinctly remembered that I had looked over my collection of a zillion poles and favored the one my grandkids are not allowed to touch. But it wasnt there. What I did remember to bring was one of those cheap white chairs made from recycled plastic. I had also remembered to bring the new binoculars I got from my wife for my birthday who bought them when I pointed at them in the case at the Big Five Sporting Goods Store in Twin Falls. The binoculars are Barsk X-Trail, 15 x 70. They come with a very large carrying case, which Im sure could be used as a backpack, and with a tripod. It says $119.95 on the box but my wife paid less than half that using my American Express card. Before we bought them, I got permission to take them outside the store to look at the moon. The moon was full so I didnt think I would see much detail like you can when the moon is partly in shadow. Someone is building a greenhouse up there! I set in my chair and scanned the reservoir. There was not a sole around and the cold was already seeping into my old bones. I decided so much for ice fishing in the winter in Idaho. Thats when I saw my old friend Big Foot. Well, I heard him before I saw him. He called, Is that you, Taylor Jones, the hack writer? I scanned the ice and there he was, sprawled out on the ice as flat as a pancake. Im always amazed over his superior eye sight. I yelled as loudly as I could, Yes! His roar came back across the ice and echoed from the rocks above me, I thought I could smell you! Can you help me? Im stuck on thin ice! Some woodsman! I yelled, Im coming to get you! I chucked the chair in the back of the Toyota and drove across the dam to the west side of the lake. I wasnt sure how the road would be. Its bad enough in the summer time. I found it to be clear of snow from the latest warm spell yet the ground was frozen. As I bumped along the road I tried to think how I could help Big Foot without any rope. There were some big pieces of cardboard from flattened boxes in the back of the Toyota. My scheme was to push them out to him and then to pull him off the ice. We ex-engineers are full of such schemes. My wife says that is not all we are full of. It took me about an hour to get to him. Actually, I found him walking up the road. I jumped out of the car and said, Thank God you are safe! Big Foot said, Gotcha! What ya got to eat? The Endcopyright2007 John Taylor Jones, Ph.D. John T. Is Paris Really The Gourmet Food Center Of All Europe?

Monday, November 12th, 2007

By Gregg Hall Paris is a city of phenomenal restaurants, quaint bistros, and tea saloons as well as the little cafes we have heard so much of. These establishments serve a variety of fine gourmet foods from elegant fine dishes to foods from the region including ethnic cuisine from restaurants that make you feel at home and a variety of so many different foods you will never be able to sample them all. Lovers of fresh food will enjoy the markets that exist in Paris where you are able to walk around and rub elbows with the locals as you experience the thrill of the outdoor markets and enjoy the taste of the fresh produce such as fruits and vegetables and the newer organic foods. Of course the high end fine dining is what Paris is known for and if you are looking for this you will find no shortage of choices in Paris. In gourmet stores such as Layfayette’s you will find a huge selection of regional gourmet foods and fine wines from all over the globe. The store is very popular and a great place to buy local food to cook your own meals if you don’t want to eat out the entire time you are there. If you are not a fancy food connoisseur and are more into just eating a quick bite and getting back to exploring the area you can find a wide assortment of familiar haunts if you are an American especially. You will be able to eat at pretty much any of the larger fast food establishments you are accustomed to from home such as Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Burger King, and McDonald’s, where you will be able to drink a beer with your burger if you so choose. I suggest that you try to blend in and enjoy the local culture and the local food as much as you possibly can. You will see that many of the local diners and restaurants have budget menus with less expensive offerings which many of the locals partake in. Try some of the rare tastes that you may not get a chance to sample again. Even though Paris is known as the gourmet capital that isn’t all that it is, there is also the regional native food. And one thing good about these kinds of food is that they are cheap, and the locals prefer it as I said. Take advantage of the opportunity to explore the new foods as you explore the sights that Paris has to offer. Gregg Hall is an author and internet marketing consultant living in Navarre Florida. To Be Successful Sell to Wants not Needs

Sunday, November 11th, 2007

By Julie Chance My mother used to tell me, tongue in cheek, that I never wanted anything in my life- everything I asked for was something I needed!! Think about it. We say, “I need a new car.” “I need to go on vacation.” “I need someone to clean my house.” When was the last time you heard someone say, “I want a new pair of shoes.” I bet even Amelda Marcos said, “I need a new pair of shoes.” As consumers we justify our purchases, at least in our own minds, as being something we need. As business owners, selling our products or services, we have been lulled into believing that customers are buying from us because they need what we have to offer. We are trying to meet the needs of our customers instead of focusing on meeting their wants. If customers made purchase decisions based on need we would all be driving Model Ts and Henry Ford would have been right, “The customer can have any color he wants so long as it’s black.” People may buy a product category due to need. However, they purchase a specific brand or from a certain company based on wants. In other words, needs define the total market and wants define the market segments. For example, people buy a watch because they need to know what time it is. One person buys a Rolex because they want the status and prestige associated with owning a Rolex while someone else buys a Timex because they want dependability inexpensively. It is often much easier to see the role wants play in purchase decisions when we’re talking about consumer products. However, the concept is equally at play even in the business to business environment. Decision makers in the business world are the same people that are buying based on wants in the consumer world. And no matter how logical the surface justification for need is, the factor(s) that tip the purchase scale are going to be wants. Several years ago I needed to select an ad agency to develop brochures and ads for the company I worked for. There were thousands of agencies across the country and hundreds within the market where I was that could have met that need. I wanted someone local who was big enough to handle the projects but was small enough that I would be a major client for them. It was those wants that drove my selection decision. Someone else in my position may have wanted to work with the biggest and most prestigious agency that would have taken their business. That person would have selected a totally different agency to meet the same basic need. To successfully market your product or service, identify a segment of the population that has the need for your product but whose wants are not being met or are not being met well. Ask yourself these questions: * What wants are my competitors filling? * How can I meet a different set of wants? * Does (or could) my product or service meet wants in the areas of speed, affordability, ease of access or use, level of service, prestige, or dependability better than my competitors? Then design your marketing message to address these wants. (c) 2003 Strategies-by-DESIGN. May be reprinted with credits and contact information. Study More Effectively

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

By Royane Real If you are studying for an exam or if you need to learn some material for a presentation, you may be wondering how early you should start to study, and how often you should review the material in order to remember it. Is it best to study large chunks of the information at a time, or should you try to master small bits of it? Should you review the material again the next day? Or is it best to let a few days go by? Learning experts have proposed several different schedules for reviewing study materials, but the following is one that works well for most people. Try it to see if it works for you, or whether it is more effective to introduce minor changes to the review schedule. First, study what you can thoroughly learn in a 40-minute period. During this time keep your mind actively engaged in the material by making notes, asking yourself questions about it, speaking out loud, and making learning maps. Then take a five or ten minute break to do something completely different, preferably something which includes physical exercise and deep breathing. After your ten-minute break, go back and review your original material and your written notes. Review for about five minutes. The next day review the material again for five minutes. A week later review it for five minutes. A month later review it for five minutes. If you need to remember the information longer, review it for five minutes after two months, and then again after six months. Your review will be even more successful if you speak your thoughts out loud. You can say a verbal summary out loud to yourself, or you can speak the summary to someone else. Each time you repeat the same physical action, or review the same study material, there are chemical changes that take place at the synapses between your brain cells, making it easier for the signal to go through the next time you repeat that thought or action. That is why review and repetition help fix acquired skills and knowledge in your brain. Saying the material out loud, or writing out a few notes again will involve more of your brain cells in the process of remembering. People who have sustained some brain damage due to advancing age, brain injury, or because of alcohol or drug use may no longer have the ability to easily refresh their knowledge by quickly reviewing material again. These people may have to spend much more time and effort on reviewing material, and still have a lower rate of recall. For the majority of people however, the above schedule is a time-effective way to keep information easily available to your memory. Tips for Preparing a Planting Bed

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

By Michael McGroarty If you are preparing beds for landscaping around your house this article should simplify the process for you. I say that because of everything that is written about this subject, some of it is accurate, some of it is just plain wrong, and much of it is much more complicated than it needs to be. I like to think of myself as Simple Simon. I find the easiest, yet most effective way to do things, and they work. Lets assume that the area where you are planning your bed is now planted in grass. How do you get rid of the grass? Chemicals or no chemicals? Chemicals are easy, so well look at the chemical method first. My favorite chemical for killing grass and weeds is RoundUp, and used properly it is effective. Rule number one: Read the label on the package, and mix the chemical exactly as recommended by the manufacturer. Rule number two: Assume that every plant that the RoundUp touches is going to die. It is a non-selective herbicide. The first thing you need to do is mark out where your planting bed is going to be. Spend some time on this step. If you are landscaping around your house, give careful consideration to what is going to be planted in the bed, and then decide how large each plant is going to be when fully mature. You can keep plants trimmed to a certain size, but be realistic when you make these estimates. Trust me when I tell you, this is the number one mistake made by Do-it-Yourself landscapers. People are just afraid to make those beds large enough. Typically, a bed should never be narrower than 42, and corner beds should be 12 in diameter. Islands. If you make those little tiny island beds that I see everywhere I am going to come over to your house and snap you with a wet towel! The island bed in your front yard should be 20 to 40 long, and a minimum of 12 in diameter on at least one end. The easiest way to mark out your planting beds is to buy a can of marking paint at the hardware store. Unlike most spray paint, this only works when the can is inverted, and it is designed specifically for painting lines on the ground. They even have cans that spray chalk instead of paint. Ive always used the paint, it holds up better if it gets wet. Once you have the outline of the bed established and marked, mix up some RoundUp and spray all the grass and weeds inside the bed area. Do not put RoundUp in a sprayer that you intend to use for other purposes. You need a sprayer that is dedicated for the use of herbicides. When applying the spray, be very careful not to let the spray drift onto the grass and other plants that you do not want to kill. To minimize spray drift, adjust the spray nozzle so the spray pattern is narrow and the droplets are larger. A wide, fine spray pattern is sure to drift outside of the intended area. Also keep the pressure in the sprayer quite low. Pump it just enough to deliver the spray. High pressure causes the spray to atomize and drift. Apply just enough spray to wet the foliage. If you have liquid dripping off the blades of grass, you are applying too much. More is not better. Once sprayed, be careful not to step in the area that has been sprayed. Many a people have had golden footprints across their lawn because they forgot and walked through what had been sprayed. This is the difficult part, and the part that many people do not get, so pay close attention. The only way that the RoundUp can possibly work is if you leave it alone. Did you get that? Once you apply the RoundUp, dont do another thing with that bed for 72 hours. Thats three very long days. I know youre anxious, but this is the price you pay for not planning ahead. RoundUp is a systemic herbicide, which means that it has to be absorbed by the plant, then translocated throughout the plant. It takes three days for that to happen. If you go digging and chopping, you might just as well skip the spraying step. Go build a compost bin while youre waiting. After three days the weeds and grass are going to look as healthy and happy as ever. Dont let ‘em fool ya. Theyre as dead as dead can be. Providing the RoundUp didnt get washed off by rain within the first 24 hours of the waiting period. Now you can dig and chop to your hearts content. However, the only digging that I do is to go around the edge of the bed and strip the sod back about 15. Just peel off about 1 and flip it into the center of the bed. This makes it easier to edge and mulch the bed if you get the sod out of the way. Now for the non- chemical method. Mark out the outline of the bed as described above. Strip the sod back 15, just like above. Since you arent using any herbicides I would dig down about 1-1/2 when removing the sod from the edges. Take the sod you stripped back and lay it in the center of the bed upside down and pack it down firmly. Now take newspaper or brown paper grocery bags and cover the entire bed area. Use 9 layers of newspaper. No matter what method you used, chemical or non chemical, you are now ready to fill the planting bed with topsoil. Put 8 to 12 of good rich topsoil in the bed. Make sure the soil is higher in the back, closest to the wall, so the water drains away from the building. If you are creating an island planting make the center of the bed the highest point. Make sure the topsoil you buy is well drained and rich in organic matter. Buying topsoil is a tricky game, youve got to be careful and shop around. Topsoil is one item that you do not want to order over the phone, sight unseen. This is what you are looking for when buying topsoil: Topsoil that is rich in organic matter will be very dark in color. If the soil is light in color it is probably just fill sand. The other thing youve got to watch for is how well drained the soil is. Topsoil that has a clay base is poorly drained and sticky, and your plants will not be happy at all. They might even die if they are too wet. Once a clay based topsoil dries out it gets very hard. Today most topsoil is run through a screener to remove the clumps, rocks, roots, and sticks. There is nothing wrong with buying unscreened topsoil, especially if youve visually inspected it and have found it to be of good quality. Actually, really good topsoil shouldnt have to be screened, but there is little of that quality topsoil to be had. When you visit the yard where the soil is stockpiled, scoop up a handful of the topsoil and run it through your fingers. If it seems to be grainy, it is probably good soil. But if it appears to be tiny round balls that can be smashed between your fingers, it is probably a clay based soil that will trap water during rainy seasons, and get as hard as a rock when its hot and dry. Pay attention to how the soil is screened. Some machines just shake the soil over a set of screens to separate the debris, and others actually shred the soil. If the soil needs to be shredded, you dont want it. Look closely at the pile that the raw soil is coming from. If the soil in the raw pile is as hard as a rock, thats what the screened soil is going be once you get it in your beds. If it appears to be fairly loose, its probably good soil. Put 6-8 of topsoil in your beds. You are now ready to plant. Did you notice that I didnt get into rototilling and all kinds of extra work? Nor did I suggest that you add bone meal or any of those other goodies that the garden centers sell. I skipped the part about checking the pH too. pH is important, but Ive found that good topsoil almost always has a suitable pH. Ive got a confession to make. In almost 30 years of growing, planting, landscaping and the like, Ive never tested the pH of the soil on any project that I was working on. Is that smart? I dont know, but Ive been successful in my efforts, and I have landscaped several hundred homes and grown tens of thousands of plants. Its something to think about. What Im really trying to say is dont get caught up in too many details, and be careful who you take advice from at those garden stores. Many of those sales people were flipping burgers last week. Use of Garden Tractor For Small areas

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007

By Andrew Caxton Decide Use of Garden Tractors Or Lawn Tractors When you have a small garden the question of using the garden tractor seems like a waste of money. When a smaller lawn tractor will do your work equally well, why spend more money in buying the garden tractor? Well, there are some points in favor of both the ideas and we will take look at both sides of the coin. Garden Tractor Vs Lawn Tractors Lawn tractors: Smaller gardens with an area of less than 2 to 3 acres can make do with smaller tractors better known as lawn tractors. Essentially these are used for lawn mowing and no other work. If your garden is small and has only the lawn, you may continue to use the lawn tractor. Small lawn tractors have a capacity of about 4 to 6 HP. However, if you do some gardening and have some agricultural produce, it makes sense to buy a garden tractor. The agricultural work involves loading and unloading of the agricultural inputs and outputs and it is difficult for lawn tractors to handle such loads. The attachments that can be attached to a lawn tractor are limited and it cannot definitely take the front end loader attachment that can be required for leveling the ground or flattening it. The garden tractors are also useful to you in saving time for the other work. With lawn tractor, the time required for the same work will be much higher than the time required for equivalent work for a garden tractor. Since agricultural work is not the main business of a small landholder, it makes sense to have a tractor that can do the work quickly and get on with other jobs that you have in hand. With a garden tractor, you can do many things that are impossible for the lawn mower to do with or without attachments. For example, you cannot use your lawn tractor for aerating the field, leveling the driveway, or hauling the firewood from far corners of your garden. With a larger machine like a garden tractor, you can do many things that are unthinkable with small lawn tractors. The removal of stones in your garden or shifting of the stones for beautification of the garden are impossible to be done with small lawn tractor but it can be easily done with a small garden tractor and you can save lot of money in doing this. Granted that the lawn tractor costs less money for purchase, but think of other jobs that you will be outsourcing in developing your garden and if you buy the garden tractor right at the start of your work, it will be economical to you in the longer run. If later you find it not being used completely, remember that it has saved you enough money to pay for itself and is still saving your time. Remember the wise old saying that time is money and now you can save time and utilize it in higher yield business that you are in now. The idle investment garden tractor can also make money for you if you rent it. If you are not the kind of person, who likes to rent his/her equipments, just remember that the garden tractor has done its work for you during the development stage of your garden and allow the garden tractor the well earned rest in your garden So in the final analysis you will agree that using the tractor in a garden is a wise decision.
