Cell Phone Plans-Choose Wisely!

Monday, December 31st, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Margarette_Tustle]Margarette Tustle How To Choose The Best Plan For You There are a plethora of cell phone plans in existence, so how do you pick which plan is best for you and your personal situation? There are numerous cell phone companies offering numerous cell phone plans. In order to choose the best plan of all of the cell phone plans, you should consider some basic things. As you consider your needs, think about pre-paid cell phone plans, as well as post-paid (billed) plans; how many minutes will you need?; when will you be using your phone the most (what time of day)?; where will you be using the phone?; and what extra charges and/or penalties are there that may not be specified with the original, advertised sign on rate? Pre-Paid Plans Vs. Post-Paid: A pre-paid plan for your cell phone is a plan where you pay in advance for a specific number of minutes. Once these pre-paid minutes run out, you have the option to purchase more. This type of plan will generally not have a contract for you to sign. Make sure you look at the details and/or ask about how the minutes are calculated, and how long distance charges are accounted for. Sometimes with pre-paid cell phone plans, you will have to add a certain amount of money to your account every month or the months you use the plan. Post-paid cell phone plans are bill-like, where you pay after you have used the minutes. Many post-paid cell phone plans offer the customer unlimited minutes, whether all the time or only on nights and weekends. Many people find post-paid cell phone plans appealing, since the individual may use the cell phone at various times of the day, and have an inconsistent number of minutes month to month. Rollover Cell Phone Plans: This type of plan allows the cell phone customer to use leftover minutes from month to month. Not all plans offer this option, so if you think your monthly usage will vary, ask the sales representative if the company offers such a option. Long Distance Vs. Roaming: The cell phone term known as roaming can be defined as calling from your cell phone when you are physically outside of your coverage area. The term long distance means you are calling from inside your coverage area to a location outside of this area. Some plans will charge for these services, so if you are a traveler or will be using your phone in remote places, you should ask the price per minute on various cell phone plans. Local Coverage Vs. Nationwide: Cell phone plans will always have a coverage or network area. Nationwide coverage allows you to make a call to anywhere in the United States where your carrier reaches. Local coverage, on the other hand, covers your local area only. Different providers offer different coverage areas, so check their maps to see what the network coverage area is. Contracts Most likely, if you purchase a post-paid plan for your cell phone, you will have to sign a contract. This contract means that you agree to stay with that specific provider and phone plan for a pre-specified amount of time. Typically contracts are for one or two years. If for any reason you decide to cancel your service, you will have repercussions, such as a fee to pay per phone cancelled. This termination fee can be up to $200 or more. Make sure you choose a plan you like and feel comfortable sticking too. If you spend time to shop carefully for the ideal plan and phone, you will find more satisfaction with your purchase. Bee Propolis: Synergisitc Health Care for the 21st Centruy

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=James_Fearnley] James Fearnley For well over a century modern science has progressed at a startling rate. With this increase in knowledge has come medicinal and healthcare benefits that have seen ages peak and diseases eradicated. These medical advances were based around the paradigm of the magic bullet, isolating the active ingredient and using it to alter the chemistry of a single molecule/protein to elicit a change of state in the patient. Success however has turned to obsession as cracks appear in the armoury of disease fighting drugs at our disposal. MRSA is rifling through our hospitals as antibiotics become ineffective and severe side effects of modern drugs are becoming common place now years after their introduction. A direct consequence of a one dimensional strategy, it is maybe the time to acknowledge the synergistic health benefits of natural medicine. Propolis is a unique natural medicine because of its breadth of action. It has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and immunomodulatory effects, it could help treat asthma, allergies, arthritis and joint disorders, eczema and dermatitis, ME, viral infections including HIV and even cancer. This medicine could help treat an illness or keep you fit and healthy. Propolis: Defender of the City Propolis is a mainly resinous substance that bees collect from trees and plants. Being made up of waxes, resins, fatty acids and even amino acids. Aristotle reputedly coined the name Propolis meaning defender of the city. This is exactly what Propolis is for the hive, it acts as a bee populations external immune system keeping the hive sterile and free of microbial invaders Evidence Based Medicine In the following paragraphs I will describe to you the pharmacological properties of Propolis. Before I do so I must explain where this evidence comes from. All the properties and actions of Propolis have been witnessed and detailed in scientific studies which have subsequently been published in journals. The bulk of these scientific studies have been performed in vitro (i.e. in a test tube) or in vivo (i.e. in a host animal for example rats), a much smaller proportion of these studies are clinical trials tested on humans. The abstracts of these papers can be found on the Medline and pubmed databases on the Internet. Propolis: A natural antibiotic Propolis is probably best known for its antibiotic properties. Even as early as 1960 French1 research demonstrated the bacteriostatic action on Bacillus subtilis, Proteus vulgaris and Bacillus alvei. The results have been replicated many times and Propolis has even been shown to be effective to MRSA2, the same antibiotic resistant bacteria that has infected up to 70% of our hospitals. A 1997 study by Calder et al. at the University of Oxford concurred with these results and found that the cinnaminic acids and flavanoids present in Propolis in particular show bacteriocidal action. This action believed to be as a consequence of Propolis uncoupling the bacterial energy respiratory chain. Interestingly this action may be involved in a synergistic action with antibiotics when used together, boosting the effectiveness of the drugs. Anti-Viral and immuno-stimulatory Viruses present a unique dilemma in the quest for good health, they are not affected by antibiotics and mutate so frequently that vaccines are hard to produce. They also cause illness by hijacking cells and using the cells machinery to replicate. Modern drugs aim to slow or stop the virus from the replicating and subsequently because they are attacking host cell machinery they have certain side effects. Viruses perhaps pose the greatest threat to humans health, we are currently in the middle of a HIV pandemic with 39.4 million people infected world wide. With a Flu pandemic overdue and certainly on its way and predictions of world wide casualties and chaos, a solution is needed. The bioflavanoids in propolis have a unique approach to combating Viruses, instead of trying to combat them once they have infected a cell, they lock the virus in its protein coat. This means that the dangerous machinery and DNA/RNA of the virus is nullified and the infection stopped. Propolis has been shown to be more effective than the pharmaceutical anti-viral acyclovir in treating genital Herpes in a clinical trial conducted in the Ukraine4 and there is growing evidence that Propolis could help treat people with HIV5. Propolis also works hard as an immunomodulator which is of interest for all of us. It does this by altering the way cytokine production and release is managed. Cytokines are the chemical messengers that allow immune system cells to communicate. By altering the cytokine system, it primes the immune system to be ready to react to antigens quickly and effectively. As well as this, bioflavanoids within Propolis stimulate the production of interferon which can help people recover from ME, stimulating their immune system. This alteration of the cytokine and interferon systems means that your body is ready to fight off infection and keep you healthy, making a case for using propolis as a supplement for good health, like vitamins. Prevention is better than the cure. Anti-inflammatory and anti-allergen A survey of Propolis consumers showed that arthritis was the health problem that Propolis was used to treat the most. This is because of the potent anti-inflammatory properties of the propolis constituents in particular CAPE (Caffeic acid Phenyl ester), CAPE has been shown to suppress T cell activation. A paper by Marquez et al in 20046 evaluated this to mean that since T-cells play a key role in the onset of several inflammatory diseases, CAPE is important because the this phenolic compound is a potent inhibitor of early and late events in T-cell receptor-mediated T-cell activation. Results like this have led other researchers to propose that CAPE is a worthwhile agent for reducing the severity of conditions associated with inflammation. Many of the experiments performed on CAPE were done so in vitro, however the anti-inflammatory properties of Propolis have been documented in rats when treating rat adjuvant arthritis. A paper by Park et al in 19997 concluding that the ethanolic extract of propolis had profound anti-inflammatory effects on both chronic and acute arthritic inflammations. These anti-inflammation properties extend to other illness and disorders such as asthma and allergies reducing both smooth muscle airway contraction8 and allergic responses. Any disorder or illness related to inflammation could be helped by Propolis. Anti-tumour/cancer Propolis and CAPE have been shown to reduce the size of tumours and to selectively destroy and to curb the proliferation of malignant cells of many different types of cancer. As recently as June 10th 2005 Cancer researchers have been given a grant of a million dollars to investigate the therapeutic value of Propolis for cancer. Costas Koumenis the lead investigator for the study was quoted as saying, a very interesting property of these compounds is that they have been shown to cause cell death in tumor cells but not in normal cells.” This study along with other current studies promises to propel Propolis into the limelight in the field of cancer treatment. Current Propolis Research in the UK BVR (BeeVital Research) recently won a major government Research and Development Award, part of a 250,000 research programme looking at the chemical, biological and clinical properties of propolis. These studies will focus on the: 1. Documenting the regional variances in chemical and biological properties, by HPLS, GC-MS and NMR. (Taking place at Univeristy of Strathclyde) 2. Futher investigating the role of Propolis in the Hive (University of Gloucester) 3. Dental trials looking at effectiveness of Propolis for Mouth Ulcers, Pericorinitis, Gingivitis and Sensitive Teeth. (Manchester University Dental school) 4. HIV/AIDS trials looking at the effectiveness of Propolis with anti-virals in Zambia and Tanzania 5. The effects of standardised propolis on mood, stress, fatigue and cognition at the Human Cognitive Neuroscience Unit at University of Newcastle. 6. To evaluate the use of local and non local propolis for wound healing and the treatment of skin and other dermatological problems. ( The Regional Teaching Hospital for University of Dar es Salaam) How to use/find propolis products? A large range of propolis products are available on the market ranging from tablets, capsules, tinctures and liquids to specialist products for skin care soap, lip balm, creams and oral health care toothpaste, mouthwash , lozenges and tooth and gum liquid. Traditionally these have been available through health food stores but are increasingly available in independent pharmacies. Choosing the best products is not always easy. Current regulations means manufacturers cannot make any kind of medical claim for products that have not been licensed as medicines despite the fact that there is a sound evidence basis for such claims. Part of the reason for this is that no single body is responsible for ensuring that product offered for sale actually are what they say they are. For this reason the BVR (BeeVital Research) programme is targeted at developing full medicines licenses for some key products. In the meantime BVR have formulated a number of products for the health food market based on their research. Consumers, when purchasing products should look for those products produced by companies who can back up their products by good manufacturing practice (pharmaceutical standard manufacturing ) and research. The Cost of Lasik Eye Surgery

Sunday, December 30th, 2007

By Kevin Stith Lasik eye surgery is the most commonly suggested treatment for myopia in the United States. Lasik eye surgery cost has come down considerably in recent years. Earlier, it was not affordable for the common man. Lasik eye surgery cost is decided depending on many factors. The cost of the machinery is the most important reason for the high price of the treatment. The price also depends on the proficiency of the doctor. According to statistical reports, the living cost of the geographical location also reflects on the cost of the surgery. The gravity of the disease is another important factor in fixing the charges. The use of advanced and specialized tools will also increase the cost of the surgery. The cost of lasik eye surgery is fixed in proportion to the entire expenses incurred by the clinic such as equipment cost, price of accessories for the surgery, administration cost, patient acquisition costs, insurance cost etc. Lasik eye surgery can be performed for $1500 at a reasonable eye clinic. It is inclusive of pre-surgical charges and follow-up costs. The standard rate varies between $850 and $2000. Lasik eye surgery cost information is available from magazines and Internet sites of the eye clinics. Often, deceptive advertisements with reduced costs also appear. Hence, you have to make a thorough study of the rates and the possible hidden charges. Most insurance packages do not cover lasik treatment, as it is an elective treatment. Financing is available from many companies to meet the cost of lasik surgery. Lasik provides detailed information on Lasik, Lasik Eye Surgery, Lasik Surgery, Lasik Complications and more. Do You Have This Essential Weight Loss Skill?

Saturday, December 29th, 2007

By Janice Elizabeth Small There is one practical skill which you need above all others when you want to lose weight. That skill will give you the ability to enjoy your food while you’re trying to lose weight as much as when you’re not. It’s a skill that unfortunately is getting less common these days as we lead busier and busier lives. What’s that skill? The ability to cook! If you can’t even boil an egg then you are stuck with eating unimaginative ready meals and TV dinners or greasy take-aways and fast food. And you will no doubt eat out in restaurants more than is good for you. With such a combination you are unlikely to get all the vitamins and minerals you need to stay healthy and you will be getting far too much food full of fat, salt and sugar and too many calories to lose weight. With a rudimentary knowledge of cooking, however, you can whip up the most delicious low-calorie healthy meals, eat as much as you need (as long as you don’t stuff yourself) and enjoy everything you eat without doing any damage to your waistline. Of course, you need to know what to cook but there are any number of helpful low-calorie and low-fat cookery books out there as well as specialist magazines and websites. You can plan a whole raft of delicious meals each week for you and your family and they won’t even know they are eating healthily to keep you company! If you really don’t have a clue where to start it’s worth joining a beginners class or buying a basic “Learn to cook” book to get the fundamental skills. After that the whole world of delicious cuisine is your oyster. You may even find that your attempts to lose weight may result in you gaining a whole new exciting relationship with food rather than fearing it as the enemy. Finding Compatible E-Dates

Friday, December 28th, 2007

By Allie Ochs In the world of online dating misrepresentation is at an all time high. Janice, a fitness enthusiast, was excited about her e-mail exchange with Rob. He seemed to share her interest in fitness and the outdoors. They wrote about mountain biking, skiing and golfing. Rob suggested an interest in these activities, but never mentioned once having engaged in any of them. When Janice and Rob met it became apparent that he was not a fitness or outdoors enthusiast. In real life he also looked much older than in the picture that accompanied his online profile. He had misrepresented himself to impress Janice. Needless to say, they parted after their first face-to-face encounter with mixed feelings. Discovering incompatibility in e-mail exchanges becomes much easier if you follow these tips:BE TRUTHFUL in your own description. While mingling among singles in a highly competitive environment you may be tempted to paint your very best picture. Putting your best foot forward does not mean inflating your image or exaggerating in your profile. The key to finding a compatible love is being authentic instead of pretending to be what you are not. Being real may not guarantee a huge number of online dates, but if you are serious about, love the bottom line is quality, not quantity. To find a like-minded date, dont play games. When your profile rings true, you will probably attract someone who is also truthful. DIG DEEPER once you have begun your email exchange. Ask questions about his or her life, values, beliefs, hobbies, likes and dislikes. Rephrase your questions in subsequent e-mails and compare the answers. Continue to go back to the persons profile and look for discrepancies. For example, to verify a persons age, ask when they either left high school or graduated from university. To find out if he or she really loves hiking, ask where they usually hike. To check employment, ask what he or she does during a regular workday and if they enjoy their work. Aaron believed he was e-mailing the kindest girl until he asked Kyra about her relationship with her sister. Kyra electronically flew off the handle calling her sister names. Aaron new then that he did not like the other Kyra he had just been exposed to. The only thing you risk by asking questions is that your new e-mail friend will drop out of the loop. BRING UP ISSUES that are important to you. If one of your priorities is family, talk about your respective families. It wont take long to find out if this is a shared priority. If you love traveling, raise this topic to see if there is excitement or if he or she has even boarded a plane. Perhaps education, knowledge or current issues are of great interest to you. In that case, raise these matters in your dialogue to probe his or her awareness and interest. A healthy lifestyle might be important to you. Talk about it! There is no point in involving yourself with someone with no interest in a healthy lifestyle. Whatever your values, beliefs or worldviews, use the e-mail exchange to reflect on these issues. Read between the lines. We all have a tendency to read or see things we like, even when they are not there. This practice will help you to determine compatibility early in the game. Shared values are important ingredients for long-term commitment. REMEMBER the reason why you are meeting someone online. If you just want to increase your circle of friends, by all means have fun and meet everyone. If you are searching for the love of your life, be selective and dig deeper. Dont waste each others time. Far too many singles have depleted their dating energy by e-mailing all night long with people who they would never introduce to their parents. Be smart and cut to the chase! 2004 Allie Ochs, Relationship Expert, Coach, Speaker and the Author of Are You Fit To Love? ISBN 0-9720227-9-1. Her articles are published in magazines and newsletters. Got An Anxiety Problem? Need Help?

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

By Peter Crump A general anxiety disorder can be defined as a state of uneasiness and apprehension, as about future uncertainties. It can be extremely debilitating, and dealing with general anxiety disorders can vary enormously from person to person. Heres a few suggestions of some things that many people find useful in dealing with general anxiety disorders. 1. Meditation. This is a form of relaxation for most people. One of the most effective methods of dealing with anxiety and depression can be relaxation. By focusing on ones inner self you can let go of the problems and the fears that seem to plague our lives and forget for a while, and this can foster a deeper form of relaxation. This can allow for a clearer view of a problem, and often after some time practicing meditation people can come up with their own solutions to their own problems. But it can certainly be relaxing and calming, both of which are useful for anyone suffering from general anxiety disorders. 2. Exercise can also be extremely useful. Vigorous exercise can pick you up and leave you feeling great. This is the opposite of how a debilitating anxiety attack can leave you. Often after anxiety attacks you are left feeling depressed and run down, and exercise can pick you up out of this rut and reinvigorate you. It makes those endorphins zing around you body leaving you feeling happier, more relaxed and less anxious. 3. Yoga is a form of exercise, but low impact exercise. It is a slower form of more fluid movements which tend to be more stretching than vigorous exercise. It is a discipline of fluidity and is extremely relaxing and calming, but still produces some of the benefits of the endorphins that more vigorous exercise produces. 4. Talking it out. Sometimes when afflicted by some form of general anxiety disorder it is useful to talk about the things that are making you feel anxious. By letting the feelings out it can help to lighten them. Find someone you really trust to let it all hang out to and unburden yourself. By vocalizing your feelings of anxiety you can help reduce them, with the right person. 5. Any other form of relaxation that works for you. Everyone has their own relaxation. Find out what yours is. Take a bath, or a long walk. Watch a movie or just read a book. General forms of anxiety disorders can leave us feeling on edge and strung out, and sometimes some good relaxation can help. Many of these suggestions will help, and if you combine 2 or 3 you may be surprised. They may not be a complete answer but they will certainly give your life a boost that it may need. Marketing an Aircraft Cleaning Business

Monday, December 24th, 2007

By Lance Winslow As I travel around the nation and stop in at small airports to check out the areas, I often see aircraft washing services, which indeed could use a few pointers in marketing their services to their prospective clientele. I started my first aircraft washing business in 1977 at age 12 and built it up from there and in later years I had franchised the operation to many regional and smaller airports. Marketing aircraft washing, cleaning and detailing services sounds like it would be easy but it is not at all. First people only come out to the airport when they are planning to fly their aircraft somewhere and you have to be there to get the business. Additionally if you try to find out who owns the aircraft they are usually registered to a no name corporation or LLC for tax purposes and it is difficult to contact the owners that way. The best way we have found to market aircraft washing services is via bulletin boards, online local flying club forums, joining the Civil Air Patrol for networking purposes and getting with other aviation businesses and offering 10% commission for getting us any customers. Additionally when invoicing aircraft owners and companies you wash for put a little note inside and ask them for referrals and give them a discount when they refer you new clientele. All these techniques work and they will help get your aircraft cleaning service off the ground you see? Consider this in 2006. “Lance Winslow” - Online Think Tank forum board. Neck Liposuction

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

By Seth Miller The human neck collects more fat than many other parts of the body, regardless of healthy diet and exercises. Deposits of fat in the neck is commonly found in aged people. Neck liposuction is an effective solution to this problem. It is a procedure used to remove excess fat that has accumulated in the lower face and under the chin. The surgery tightens the sagging skin and is effective in both men and women. Neck liposuction is performed by making a small incision behind the ears. In order to extract the fat deposits in the specified area, the surgeon inserts a thin tube known as cannula through the incision. Surgeons make use of cannula to break up the unwanted fat and to sculpt the fatty area to meet the patient?s expectations. Dry liposuction, the super-wet technique, the tumescent technique, and the ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) are some of the techniques used in neck liposuction. Dry liposuction is the oldest method and is not common now. Ultrasound-assisted liposuction utilizes sound waves to liquefy the fat after the injection of fluids. UAL reduces trauma, bruising, and blood loss. It is possible to combine other procedures with a neck liposuction. Muscle repair, neck lifts, and chin implants are some additional procedures that can be mixed with neck liposuction. By combining these procedures, patients get noticeable improvements in their facial appearance. Most surgeons offer reduced rates for performing additional procedures in one session. Neck liposuction is usually performed in an hour’s time and is considered an outpatient procedure. Liposuctions involving additional procedures requires more time. Upon completion of surgery, patients can return to work within a few days. Liposuction provides detailed information on Liposuction, Liposuction Cost, Abdominal Liposuction, Tumescent Liposuction and more. Liposuction is affiliated with Mini Tummy Tuck. White Sun (The Paths of Reincarnation)

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

By Teow Aun Chew The setting sun here is the rising sun elsewhere. The world is round, and if we think we are ahead of others, we are actually behind many others. We are constantly creating new causes from the effects until we become helpless and confused in this universal turbulence of cause and effect. The vicious cycle is also called karma as suffering begets confusion; confusion begets karma; karma begets suffering and never ending story. There are four holy ways and six conditions of the existence of sentient beings. The four holy ways are Buddha, Bodhisattvas, Pratyeka Buddha and Sravakas. The six conditions of rebirth are deva, human, asura demon, animals, hungry ghosts and ghosts in hell. These six rebirths dwell in three realms: Realm of Desire, Realm of Form and Realm of Formless. 1] The Realm of Desire is divided into a) Three Upper Ways and b) Three Lower Ways. a] Three Upper Ways Those who performed good deeds but without improving his or her shortcomings such as hatred or ignorance will be reincarnated as Asura Demon. This is the inferior class of goodness which has good karma but without virtue. The second is the middle class of goodness where it will be a return to human life. The upper class of goodness is rewarded with the deva life (deity), who will dwell in the six heavens of the realm of desire. b] Three Lower Ways These are hells, animals and hungry ghosts. There are central hells, adjacent hells and isolated hells. Central hells have eight hot hells and eight cold hells. The terms used for these hells are Arbuda, Nirarbuda, Atata, Apapa and Huhuva with different degree of suffering and punishment. The adjacent hells have sixteen inferior cells next to each hot hell. Isolated hells are beyond words to describe the suffering and have no chance of reincarnation until the end of time. Full description can be found in my website under the link Journey to the Underworld. The Animals Our eyes can see this world and is classified into four different types. They are viviparous, oviparous, insect and creature of water. The Hungry Ghosts This is a very pitiful ghost who has a very narrow throat and big belly with a ghostly figure. Any food that they come across and want to eat will turn into burning charcoal where they cannot eat and is always hungry looking for food. 2] The Realm of Form There are eighteen levels of heavens. 3] The Realm of Formless There are four levels of heavens. These heavens are not true eternal heaven and are sometimes called lower heaven or middle heaven. It is also called The Spiritual World. In these heavens, even though there is enjoyment of the reward, they still belong to part of the cycle of reincarnation and do not belong to eternal heaven. Cultivators of different paths may easily reach these heavens but it is very difficult to reach eternal heaven which has no more reincarnation and the end of all sufferings. The Buddhist scripture says: There is no peace in the three realms. Just like a burning house, filled with suffering and fear, there are also endless flame of birth, growing old, illness and death. Buddha said: We inherited our karma. If we want to know about our past lives, we can simply learn about them from what situations we encounter in this life. If we want to know about the conditions of our future lives, we can learn about them from what we have done in this life. All changes of cause and effect come from the activities in our present daily life. Our fate is of our creation and it centered in our heart and depends upon our inner intentions, attitude and external deeds. In the teaching of Tao, it is said: Our intentions from our heart formed our attitudes. Our attitudes formed our behavior, our behavior formed our habits, our habits formed our character, and our character formed our fate. Author: T.A Chew T.A Chew, a Tao practitioner, was advised that the first step to end the cycle of reincarnation is to be initiated with Tao. He did so in 1995 and since then he has been shown the way to eternal heaven. Realizing that there are heavens above heavens, what he wanted is eternal heaven. Jews Must Demand Rights to Temple Mount

Friday, December 21st, 2007

By David Ben-Ariel During a 1995 Root and Branch lecture in Jerusalem, Professor Nahum Rakover, author and then Deputy Attorney General of Israel, publicly agreed with me that it isn’t illegal for Christians or Jews to pray upon the Temple Mount, even though it is forcibly prevented by the police. I had expressed the frustration we (the Temple Mount Faithful and thankfully, now, many others) feel when we follow the law, receive the necessary police permits for our legal demonstrations, and even obtain written Supreme Court approval of our actions, only to be denied “freedom of access” to our most holy site, the Temple Mount, and to be harshly treated with contempt for even trying to exercise our democratic rights! I asked Deputy Attorney General Rakover why the Israeli government was, in effect, encouraging folks to act outside of the law (which they know we’ve never done, unlike other groups who feel why bother wasting your time trying to reason with corrupt officials), as well as rewarding militant Muslims for their terrorist threats of riots and violence (if Israel were to actually uphold their 1967 law that guarantees - in writing - “freedom of access” to the Temple Mount) and bizarrely punishing law-abiding people by denying them entry to the Temple Mount. Why not remove the threat? Isn’t that logical? Isn’t that legal? Professor Nahum Rakover basically said that we’re in this situation today because NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE WANT TO EXERCISE THEIR RIGHT to that religious site - the Temple Mount! Why should Israel change the status quo when they’re not under any pressure to do so? It’s been said politicians don’t see the light until they feel the heat. Shame on us! As I’ve written in a letter published in the Jerusalem Post, the Temple Mount isn’t in our hands, because it’s not in our hearts and minds. I was later unjustly deported for highlighting the plight of the Temple Mount under Nazi-Muslim occupation within an article published throughout Jerusalem and Israel, calling for the restoration of the Temple Mount as the Temple Mount - a House of Prayer for All Peoples - which the High Court of Israel dismissed as dangerous ideas. Why should Jews continue to pray at the Western Wall, a site designated by the Turks for Jewish worship instead of the Temple Mount, and continue to submit to such a Gentile decree rather than obey the biblical command to ascend the Temple Mount? Why obey men over God? Isn’t that idolatry? Isn’t that immoral? Isn’t God Israel’s King, Israel’s only Husband? Who are the nations to dictate what God’s wife should do? Why are Jews gathering at the pitiful Western Wall to mourn the destruction of the Temple? Do something constructive and DEMAND Jewish legal and biblical rights to the Temple Mount. Thankfully, the Third Temple is coming soon! ********************************************** Protection of Holy Places Law June 27, 1967 1.
