Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By Fiona M If you are married or in a long standing relationship and things are just not going as you had planned, you are probably wondering whether you should stay or go. Believe it or not, deciding when to separate and when to divorce takes just as much thought and planning as your wedding did. The urge to take flight may be hard to resist, but before you take off remember, there are things you can do to help make the decision to stay or go easier. What Causes Marital Trouble? Unfortunately just about everything does. Today, married couples want to leave their relationships for reasons that revolve around incompatibility, or sex, or finances, or drugs or alcohol, or fear, or adultery, or a job transfer, or jealousy, or simply because they have fallen out of love. They even leave because of the way someone leaves the toilet seat or toothpaste. In a recent AOL survey of marriage, more than one third of the women polled said that, if they had to do it all over again, they would not marry their current husbands and almost three quarters said that they fantasized about other men. While 80 percent of the female respondents believed in soul mates, only 52 percent thought that they had found theirs. These results even startled the survey organizers. How Do You Make The Decision To Stay Or Go? If your relationship is abusive emotionally, physically or mentally you should have a plan in place that enables you (and your children if you have them) to make a rapid exit. If children are involved, and abuse is not a factor, you must take extra care to ensure that you have put their needs first. Children need security, and to know that both parents love them and will remain active nurturers and protectors in their lives if a separation or divorce occurs. Where abuse is not a factor, write down your values, goals, aspirations, life directions, beliefs and preferences and then write down your partners as well. Then you can compare the two lists. Are you compatible? Is there the chance that you can support either others aspirations or goals? Does your partner seek the same things as you? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, you might have a chance of saving your relationship and making it even stronger with some commitment from both of you and if needed some help from a therapist. Until you try, you will never know and you might find that instead of separating or divorcing, you will be wondering how soon until you will be back in the arms of your sweetie! 8 Positive Tips To Repair An Unhappy Relationship If you think that there is the chance to save your relationship, adopt a positive attitude (as hard as it seems right now) and try changing your own behavior as a first step. Once your attitude and behavior towards the relationship changes, you might just see a change in your partner too. Practice being kind, attentive, patient, honest, funny, flexible, gracious, available and intimate towards each other. Learn to listen and communicate. When you are emotionally off balance it can be tempting to play games with one another or seek revenge for things that have happened. Do not do this. You need to be mature about your relationships. Do not play the victim. Victims blame the other person for all their own problems it is your entire fault that my life is so awful right now mentality and while your friends and family will support you for awhile, most people have no respect for victims if they continue to wallow in their own self pity.Do not play the martyr either. A martyr sacrifices and suffers for the sake of principle such as I would really like to help you by washing all your clothes and folding them into a neat stack, but I am so busy trying to get your three children ready for school that I simply do not have time. You will just end up spending your time bickering with one another. If you argue, avoid launching into personal attacks. These simply make the other person feel defensive, and back them into a corner where they either shut down to what you are trying to say or fight back with equally hurtful comments.Do not let in laws or other people around you meddle or interfere in your relationship. Whether their intentions are good or bad, interference will not be helpful to your situation. And do not ask mutual friends to become involved either.Keep your confidantes to a very small number and make sure that they are people you really trust. If you have children, organize a night where the two of you regularly get a babysitter and head out for the evening for a meal or to see a movie. A Painful Piscatorial Predicament

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

By Stephen Sheppard It happened like this, I was busy making my way in life doing the best with what I have when wham, something hits you square in the jaw and drops you to your knees in my case after 39 years fulltime employment redundancy. Soon after on a warm sultry night no breeze through the open window I was tossing around my head in a spin the wifes steady breathing the only thing on the night air what to do where to go how make ends meet, when EUREKA!!! The idea shot into my head. I sat bolt upright shouted at the top of my voice YESSS!!!! At that our ginger cat daisy who had been sleeping at the bottom of the bed and is of a nervous disposition leapt three feet in the air landing squarely on the wifes stomach all four legs rotating like a demented chain saw.Startled in pain and panic she screamed, at that the cat now traumatised launched herself towards the open window and escape, in her panic she missed hit the pane of glass with a sickening thud her flaying limbs tying her up in the net curtain like some giant spiders web where she hung mewing pitifully leaving the wifes nightdress and stomach in tatters. As she struggled to get out of bed I noticed bedroom lights coming on one by one in the houses up and down the street and curtains moving I slipped back beneath the sheet you all right dear I enquired? When I was discharged from accident and emergency, It struck me, as had the alarm clock, bedside lamp, and a large heavy hardback book with the title The History of Women Against Violence (huh!!) her verbal reply well a deciphered cleaned up version of her reply was the perfect title for the idea that had caused such upset so anglersgifts was born. I have been building and maintaining fishing tackle for over twenty years with a keen interest in anglings rich heritage, the ingenuity and creativity of those past craftsmen that has evolved into the tackle we know today so why not a natural progression into recreating some of the more oddball artefacts for the discerning angler / collector. Sounds great, but believe me its been hard, buying the equipment and materials, researching ideas, formulating designs, finally developing a manageable build system kept me busy into the early hours for months, then the problem of presenting the work to its best advantage, internet, magazine advertising, outdoor events, all on a shoe string budget. Well I keep trying I have been amazed at the help and encouragement I have received from the angling fraternity both here and abroad I have been running an advertising campaign with the help of The Old Reel Collectors Association in the USA and items of my work were sold at auction at their annual convention in New York in May 2006. Fly-fishing online has helped publishing my ramblings as has Anglers net, and www.anglingnews.net has reviewed my Bamboo Ratchet Brake reel under tackle reviews. Right that was my predicament in life painful as it was I can honestly say I have enjoyed the challenge of going it alone the ups and downs being my own boss doing my own thing learning by my mistakes, well always learning, and the satisfaction of creating pieces people want to buy are proud to own and use and will hopefully cherish. Has it changed our lives you ask, well yes, the wife now sleeps with the duvet up to her chin whatever the weather, daisy is terrified of net curtains and has developed a strange habit of only sleeping in her basket, which she first turns upside down then crawls under keeping one eye open in case of any more traumatising occurrences in the small dark hours. Hope you enjoyed my ramblingsSteve www.anglersgifts.co.uk An independent artist/craftsman creating unique pieces for the discerning angler Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Stephen_Sheppard http://EzineArticles.com/?A-Painful-Piscatorial-Predicament&id=267851 cheap phentermine on line paradise pharmacy phentermine mexican pharmacy phentermine buy phentermine with a mastercard

Weight Loss For Beginners

Monday, January 28th, 2008

By Ryan Fyfe Getting into a weight loss program or any type of dieting is intimidating for a beginner. Better health is something that we should all work towards, and be bold about. With the right preparation and attitude we can all get into and achieve success in Weight Loss. Provided below are some tips that can help you get into Weight Loss, and help you progress along the way. Seek Advice - When first starting out there is no sense trying to learn everything for yourself! Take some time to talk to others who are more experienced, and learn what you can from them. It can take time to really work out what works for your body, and your lifestyle, and by talking to others you can save a lot of the time in experimenting, and see the results you want, faster. Exercise - When getting into a weight loss plan, make sure you are after one that is interested in the general well being of your body, rather than one that will just pull the pounds off the fastest. Understand that someone who is a bit overweight can be a lot more physically healthy than someone who is lean. I strongly believe that any good Weight Loss program should have an exercise program to go along with it. This will help promote a healthier lifestyle, increase the speed of your progress, give you a strong heart and lungs, and will make you feel mentally fresh, and full of energy. Diet - Just as important as exercising throughout a weight loss program you need to make sure to find a diet that will work for your lifestyle and your goals. Be reasonable, and be persistent. One of the biggest flaws in diet programs, is that users will follow them for 5 out of 7 days of a week, and on the other 2 binge on foods that work negatively towards the progress of the whole program. Be mentally strong and take the steps necessary to make this as easy as possible. It can be simple things like not buying junk foods, and staying out of Coffee/Donut shops that can make all the difference. Set Goals - Set goals that are attainable. Out of reach goals only set yourself up for failure. Take it one step at a time, and enjoy/celebrate your success all the way up the ladder. Whether its taking it pounds at a time or making sure you stick to your diet and exercise program 100% of the time, you need to set goals! Life gets busy and without goals and marks to work towards its easy to lose focus, and fall off. Visualize Success - Its important to see yourself succeeding before begin any program. This winning mind will set yourself up for success and help you stay positive and motivated throughout your entire program! How To Avoid Spamming!

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

By Eva Claesson Mainly look at who your ads are being sent to. 1. If they are being sent to complete strangers, new prospects that you’ve not had dealings with before, then your ad should not mention the program, but rather ask them to request the information from you. Once you receive this request, take a note of the email address and first name (at least),and store them in a file (preferably a Group Mailer). You can then email these people back (because they are now an optin lead) and advise your website details, etc….. 2. If they are being sent to your previously spoken to clients, no problem. 3. If they are members of the same club or program as you, and cross promotion is permitted, again no problem. IMPORTANT: It is imperative to avoid SPAMMING that you include a DISCLAIMER CLAUSE at the foot of every email you send out. (Safelist advertising has its own so no need for one there). The Disclaimer Clause should say something to the effect: DISCLAIMER: This email cannot be considered SPAM as you have previously requested information from me. or DISCLAIMER: This e-mail is sent in compliance with strict anti-abuse and NO SPAM regulations. Your address was collected as a result of either posting to a link, a free classified ad, or you have sent me your business proposition by e-mail in the past. Under Bill S1618 TITLE III, passed by the 105th US Congress, this messagecannot be considered SPAM as long as there is a way to be removed, paragraph(a) (c) of S. 1618. or DISCLAIMER: Please refer to www.spamlaws.com/federal/hr3113.html This message is sent in compliance withthe pending new Email bill, Section 301. paragraph (a) (2) (c) of S.1618. It is also imperative to avoid SPAMMING that you include a REMOVAL CLAUSE at the foot of every email you send out. (Again safelists are not necessary to do this with). The Removal Clause should say something to the effect: REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS: If you no longer wish to receive emails from me, please click “Reply” to this email, and type or copy and paste in the subject area - REMOVE ME FROM YOUR EMAIL LIST. You may like to categorize your Email list, to relate it to your own lists. I have several different lists, I always categorize the list. Check out that you don’t SPAM. Do You Wake Up at 2 AM? Is it Depression? Or Is It-?

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

By Jonni Good Has this happened to you? You go to sleep easily, but 2 am comes around and your eyes pop open. You look at the clock and groan - you have to be up at 5 am to get ready for work, and you know you’ll be groggy, irritable, and fuzzy-brained if you can’t get back to sleep. Your mind searches for the reason why you can’t sleep. You go over your recent fight with your husband, word for word, over and over. Or you agonize over the poor grade you got on that test. You may discover problems you didn’t even know you had - not enough time to yourself, too much stress, too little respect from your family or coworkers. The negative thoughts charge on, and you stay wide awake. Is it depression? Is it stress? Do you need sleeping pills, or anti-depressants? Maybe. But before you begin medicating yourself, try this simple experiment. Don’t eat any sugar for a week, and don’t drink any alcohol after 5 in the afternoon. You may discover that you can sleep just fine, because you’ve eliminated the true cause of your insomnia. If you eat that big piece of chocolate cake or sip that glass of whiskey just before going to bed, your blood stream will be bombarded with extra sugar. Too much sugar or alcohol in the blood stream is a dangerous situation, and your body will pull out all it’s forces to remove the excess sugar from your bloodstream. Unfortunately, the battle is fought too aggressively, so by 2 am your blood sugar levels are dangerously low, and you wake up. Your blood sugar level will eventually come back into balance - but in the meantime, you lie there awake. Your brain will look for the reason you woke up, but you won’t find it unless you understand that the 2 am wakening might be caused by sugar or alcohol. If you don’t know that you should look at your diet for a clue to the problem, your brain will look for the problem everywhere else - at the state of your marriage, at your financial situation, at your children’s school grades, at your career prospects… But if you think it’s possible that you woke up because your blood sugar levels were too low, you won’t need to analyze your life for problems you don’t really have. And that, in itself, will make it easier to fall back to sleep. Next time you wake up too early, think about what you ate and drank last night. By finding the real cause of your insomnia, you may be able to save yourself a trip to the doctor - and give yourself an excuse for a healthier lifestyle at the same time. Many people have discovered that their “depression” magically goes away when they give up the sugar or the late-evening glass of Scotch. __ If you’d love to stop eating sugar but you just can’t seem to give it up, you may be addicted to the stuff. Jonni has helped hundreds of people take control of their food cravings so they could stay on a healthy diet. The Panty Remover

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

By February Fontaine After a hard day at work nothing removes my panties faster than a long hot bathtub full of bubbles. That’s right, a good old fashion bubble bath. On my way home that’s all I can think about. I get goose bumps over every inch of my body. By the time I get to the elevator in my building I am already starting to undress myself. By the time I get to my front door I’m half naked. As soon as I get inside I immediately strip down and start the hot water. Then, as the bathroom steams up and the bathtub fills up I pour my special aromatic bubble bath into the hot water. After the tub fills up I gently ease my naked body into the scorching hot bubbles. And the water has to be very hot. So hot that it prickles my pretty pink skin. I love to sit back and relax and let the bubbles and oils ooze over my body. It’s a great way to get rid of the stress of the day. Sometimes I’ll even take a short nap. After the bubble bath it’s time to choose my lingerie for the evening. If I am going out that night with a man that I am intimate with the party begins. Maybe I’ll wear a red laced garter belt with matching g-string and bustier. Or maybe a criss-cross top sheer thigh high. After the lingerie is chosen then it’s time for my shoes. My favorite shoes are my sexy red mules or my cage style 5 inch heel sandals. Both make me feel tremendously sexy. As for a dress - the sexier the better. One of my favorite dresses is my red babydoll dress. It matches my favorite shoes. It has a satin band at the waist with spaghetti straps. It’s long enough so that I don’t look like a tramp but short enough to make the men look. And it’s great for showing off cleavage. If I decide to stay in by myself for the evening I like to lounge around in a satin and lace chemise. For some reason my favorite color for a chemise is teal. If you have never tried a long hot bubble bath after a stressful day at work you don’t know what you are missing. Nothing gets me naked faster. (c) All rights reserved. Nokia 2652 Review

Monday, January 21st, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Nicolas_Fogelholm]Nicolas Fogelholm No phone details were mentioned in the official press release and as far as I can tell, there are no new features, except that it comes in different colors, dark grey and pearl with white key mats. The review below is therefore based on what we know about the Nokia 2650. The phone has a somewhat odd clamshell construction. The phone may be opened for an angle of almost 180 degrees and unfolded the phone looks like a beach chair. Not my kind of design, but maybe this makes the phone stand out from the crowd. The phones internal surface is made of rubber or soft plastic. According to Nokia the 2652 “builds on the success of the award-winning Nokia 2650″. Battery According to Nokia the battery works for 2500 hours in standby mode and up to 3,5 hours the talk mode. Phone users report less than 150 hours of standby time and 40 - 50 minutes of talk time. The thruth should be something in between. Full charging takes 2 hours. Keypad The keypad is standrard and has a white backlighting. Flashing LED light alerts on the outside of the phone to announce incoming calls and messages. Useful - maybe, cool - for teenagers, yes! The only flaw is that the keypad gets really dirty over a period of time. Screen The 128 x 128-pixel, 4096 color TFT display is acceptable for a low-end model. An external display would be nice and can be found on many other low-end phones. Applications Being an low-end phone, the 2652 comes with only basic Series 40 phone features such as calendar, calculator, alarm clock, countdown timer and stopwatch. The 2650 had 3 games. Phone book You can store up to 250 names in the phone book. You can enter to 5 numbers for a name, which are primary, mobile, home, office, fax. E-mail address, web site url, post address and text note can be set as extra information to a number. Organizer You can store upto 100 entries such as meeting, call, birthday, reminder and memo. A notification may be assigned to an entry. The to-do list allows you to create events with priorities high, normal and low. User Opinions for the 2650 Pros - The relaibility factor is good - Cheap - Very cool design - Excellent battery Cons - Keypad keys were very hard to press - Hard to text in a hurry - Keypad starts to bulge! - No Bluetooth or infrared to download stuff from PC - LCD screen easily gets scratched - No camera - Dualband Conclusion If you need a budget phone, the design appeals to you and the lack of features is not an issue, then consider.
